On Tuesday the 26 of March 2013 Norm Hewitt came to our school to address us on how to treat animals with kindness and respect. He is a x All Black hooker and represents the SPCA. He is also the winner of the 2005 dancing with the stars. Norm spoke about his childhood and about how he became to be what he is today. He taught me a very important lesson a lesson that I will never forget. He said that if you treat animals with respect you will treat people with respect. So I hope you take something away from this and learn something.

Camp Poem
Camp Poem
In front of me I see sand and Lake Rotoma.
In front of me I see sand and Lake Rotoma.
In the
distance I see a beautiful Mountain range and a horizon.
Above me I
see lovely clear sky.
Below me I
see gritty green grass.
I can hear
the whistling wind and waves pounding against the shore.
In the
distance I can hear fantails humming an uplifting tune.
I smell
cleansing morning air.
It makes me
feel at home.
